Q: What Frames Are Available
A: We have access to most traditional frame profiles and finishes, so most frames are available. If you have a look you like, send us a photo to review and we can confirm that we can replicate it. For metal, we use steel, brass, bronze, and aluminum for most projects, though we have used other metals in the past.
Q: Can You Make a Large Mirror?
A: Yes but anything larger than approximately 40” x 80” for a rectangular mirror and 48” round becomes very complicate and expensive.
Q: How Long Does It Take to Build a Mirror?
A: It depends on complexity, which includes size, frame type, mirror design and mirror material. On average, mirrors take between 2 - 6 weeks. Mirror repairs are usually simpler and may only take a day or two.
Q: What Colors and Finish Mirrors Can You Make?
A: We can usually match most mirrors that you may have seen in the wild. The best way is just to send us a photo via email to office@birminghamglassandmirror.com
Q: Can You Repair a Mirror That Arrived Damaged to Me?
A: Usually yes, though the easiest way is to send a photo first for us to review to office@birminghamglassandmirror.com
Q: Can You Make a Mirror That Looks Like a Picture I Saw?
A: Usually yes, but this is also something where a picture speak 1000 words.
Q: Can You Put a Mirror in a Frame I Already Have?
A: Yes. It helps if you can transport the frame to us so that we can fit the mirror to the frame itself (instead of working off dimensions).
